Old world charm mixed with new world amenities.

The Copeland provides well appointed accommodations to connect guests with the Revelstoke community and the town’s relaxed mountain lifestyle.

Steeped in authenticity, The Copeland’s McCarty House dates back to 1900 when it was constructed for the infamous Mayor of Revelstoke, Frank McCarty. The revamped heritage building is now an elegant home away from home for outdoor enthusiasts, mountain aficionados and discerning travellers.

Stay, adventure, connect. We know you’ll be returning soon.

History

McCarty House was aptly named after its first proprietor, Florence (Frank) McCarty. Originally from Wisconsin, Frank and his wife Mary moved to Revelstoke in 1883, following the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) construction, which was moving Westward across the continent.

We work together with a number of Revelstoke businesses and organisations. As a tight knit mountain community, we feel that the best way forward is to support local innovators, entrepreneurs and like minded people.
